My Opinion on Abortion ...
Abortion is a shame. But, it is sometimes necessary. What might just be worse than abortion is being an unwanted child. We have so many laws protecting children from predators, unfair labor, etc. So, why not protect them from a potentially miserable existence? It may be where they wind up if someone is forced to bear & raise a child not wanted.

Everyone Dislikes Abortion
Stop labeling people as pro-choice or pro-life, please. I think if you ask anyone, they'd agree that abortion should not be the first plan of approach to an unwanted pregnancy. But, these labels force people to choose one side or another. A Harris Poll found, "... 21 percent oppose abortion in all circumstances." That means almost 80% of those polled believe that there are valid reasons for abortion. Even Planned Parenthood© - supporters of abortion rights - offers five ways to prevent abortion.

It's a Woman's Choice ... Not the Government's
Where do we draw the line with government involvement? Where do we draw the line between what we believe God will punish us for doing versus what our government should keep us from doing? We need fewer laws, less interference and more humane treatment of people as people. The US Government should have no right, whatsoever, to control how a woman treats her body.

Energy Costs		Fund solar, wind and other energy research. Stay out of ANWR. Get out of foreign oil dependency!

Global Warming		If we can change for the better, we should ... regardless how painful.
