My Opinion on Illegal Immigration ...
Let us not lose focus on the first word; ILLEGAL. We should not be confusing this with standard, legal immigration rules. The issue on the table is what to do with the estimated Eleven Million+ people who have entered our country undocumented, illegally, and who are getting health benefits for which WE are paying. And, though the majority of illegal immigrants are those who snuck in from Mexico, let's not distort that any & all illegal immigrants in this country need to be processed either out of the country or to the end of the line.

Jobs v. Wage
What jobs are being taken that Americans won't take? Jobs that pay sub-standard wages below the already unacceptable minimum wage. Jobs not only with ridiculous wages, but no benefits. If it costs the consumer more for the end product because of higher American-worker wages/benefits, it probably equals out to what we're paying in taxes to cover the benefits illegal workers are stealing.

Non-citizens in our military?
There is an argument that we have service men & women in our armed forces who have relatives living illegally in the U.S. Some say, "How can you ask these people to leave when their sons/daughters are serving our military?" I say, "How in the hell did a non-citizen get into our armed forces?!" Even if there is some practice that allows this, that doesn't mean we don't uphold the laws for which these soldiers are fighting for this country to be able to enforce!

I think if everyone were better educated about sex, there might be less occurrences of abortion.

Fund solar, wind and other energy research.

Stay out of ANWR.

Get out of foreign oil dependency!

If we can change for the better, we should ... regardless how painful.
